Probably only a week ago, Rebe, Dallia, Ennen, Lydelle and i travelled to Ontario for the weekend! Our main purpose was to introduce Lydelle to Canada and bring her about some sight-seeing. And how could we forget Niagara Falls!

So, the first thing that we did was to take a ride on the Maid of the Mist boat. The scenery was awesome, the grand pails of water gushing down next to us, with the constant mist forming around us. We snapped alot of pictures during our ride. Hah, we were quite wet by the time we got off the boat. In the afternoon, we visited the souvenier shop and Lydelle bought a couple of magnets and keychains for her family. The rest of us didn't get anything though. After that, we went on board the Niagara Helicopter! It was such a wonderful scenic experience, viewing the waterfall from such a height. It was simply breath-taking. Next, we visited the Ripley's Believe It Or Not Musuem, it was so scary! I remembered that the 5 of us were holding each other's hands when we entered. I was holding Lydelle's hand on the right and Ennen on the left. Everytime we saw something terrifying, Ennen would be the first to scream, sparking off a chain effect within us! Thinking about it, it was quite funny. I remembered seeing this realistic looking shrunken head and some two-headed creature. You really gotta see it to believe it!

And what is a trip without shopping? We passed by Military Road, and we entered Fashion Outlets of Niagara Falls. As the name suggests, we did some real shopping. Lydelle bought the most, but with many items for her family of course! The five of us decided to buy a friendship identity to mark this memorable day and we settled for a blue and white striped watch from Banana Republic ;)

Finally, we had dinner at Coco's Steakhouse where all of us ordered veggie pizzas and jacket potatoes. After that hearty meal, we walked around somemore, taking more pictures of the scenery for keepsake and camwhored! It was such a great day. Hopefully Lydelle, like all of us had enjoyed herself too!

Hello! Life's been going quite okay lately. It's still really really cold here, i've been wearing like 5 or 6 layers out lately.

Some good news: There is a new student in my calculus class and she's from Singapore! She's called Lydelle Tan Cai Ying. And she's really cute and pretty! Apparently, she moved here to stay with her grandmother as her parents are constantly busy with their jobs back in Singapore. But, it was still such a great time to talk to her, and how we miss the hot weather when it's freezing, and how we miss the local delicacies! I introduced her to Rebe, Dallia and Ennen too, and all of them welcomed her invitingly. I hope that she will fit in very well!

Last weekend, i followed my mum to the art exhibition in the town. I have always enjoyed art exhibitions, especially controversial art and art of other media forms, and this art exhibition didn't fail me! I will not go into details about each art piece, as it might be pretty boring. But it was definitely a great experience immersing myself in art of different forms!

Agenda next week: Travelling to Ontario with Lydelle and gang for NIAGARA FALLS!
