Today was a very fine day here. I really have to thank Maycee for waking up so early to help prepare my favourite breakfast on this special day ;) When i first opened my eyes this morning, the rays of sunlight shone right into the depth of reality-that today has arrived. It wasn't a shocking truth, i have been expecting this day all along.
Without much contemplation, i washed up and hastened to my wardrobe. I took the dress out gingerly. What more to describe a girl's satisfication on finding the dress she had always dreamed of. The prince, the castle, the turrets of strong building blocks. I imagine myself up in the highest tower, wearing that perfect dress. Set in an unbelievably pale shade of pink, made of the finest silk and velvet and lace, the flawless amethyst stone set right in the heart of the chest, long and flowing just brushing against my ankles, and a little trim of lace to end off the perfect piece.
After all, my first big role in this play. Awesome Greg wrote this, for the school of course. This award-winning play i was to be cast in, i could not let everyone down. I can never forget the lines, they are settled right behind my mind, giving me all the security and assurance i needed.
The happiest day in my school. Walked in feeling the light breeze following suit, it was a great feeling. I have to give my most sincere thanks to this few people, WEI TING for texting me right on the dot to wish me luck, i know you'll probably get bombed for wasting money, but i really appreciate it alot alot, ily! F.JANE for being such a sweet girl ;) your chocs, sweets and wonderful card ;) ASHLEY for making me feel so much more better. You guys really rock my world. Not forgetting all those other people who made today so fantastic ;)
Evening came silently. The prep room was messy and though chaotic, it was exactly what i imagined it to be, my perfect prep room scene. Special thanks to Bernin and Dallia for helping me with the impeccable make-up, Ella for my ravenous hair, Coryn for all your help and guidance throughout all practice sessions. And lastly, Herman, for being the gentleman, the charming prince.
The play was beautiful, i know i have gave in my all ;) As what Rebe had said, it was speechless, touching and magnificent. The stage production of my heart. :)))
